Class MillingToolSilhouettePart

Namespace
Hi.Milling.MillingTools
Assembly
HiMech.dll

One part of a MillingToolSilhouette: the right half of its outline, as Z-R points in the tool-tip frame in the order the part's surface runs. The part is the solid this half outline sweeps about the tool axis, closed to the axis at its first and its last point, so the points and their mirror image about the axis draw it.

MillingToolSilhouettePart(IReadOnlyList<PairZr>, bool)

public MillingToolSilhouettePart(IReadOnlyList<PairZr> Outline, bool IsEnvelope)

Parameters

Outline IReadOnlyList<PairZr>

At least two points, every one finite and at least one off the axis; the points are copies, so changing them changes no tool.

IsEnvelope bool

False when Outline is the part's own Z-R profile, the one its 3D mesh revolves, moved along the tool axis to where the tool's assembly places the part. True when the part is a free-form mesh, or a profile the assembly sets off or askew to the tool axis, and the outline is the radial envelope of its mesh in the tool-tip frame, the outline the mesh sweeps turning about the tool axis: from the lowest height to the highest, the farthest the mesh reaches from the axis at each height a vertex of it is at (at evenly spaced heights when there are very many), a step drawn level at its height.
