MillingTool

Represents a central stick milling tool that combines a holder and a cutter.

MillingToolEditorDisplayee

Display host for a milling tool composed of a cutter and a holder.

MillingToolPhysicsPack

The scalar physics derivations of one tool (and one cutting-parameter set), computed once on a sequential boundary and frozen. The per-step force build, the sequential physics, and the step/shot writers read these values thousands to millions of times per play; the tool and cutter objects themselves expose them as deliberately uncached pure computations, so hot session paths read this pack instead — callers outside a session simply pass null and the pure computation runs on use. Owned per session by MachiningSession, keyed by tool id. A pack is never updated in place: the paths that know the tool/cutter/para state may have changed invalidate the session's packs explicitly (run-op start, tool change, a step-physics recompute, the start of an NC optimization outside a play — see MachiningSession.InvalidateToolPhysicsPacks), and IsStaleFor(IMachiningTool, ICuttingPara) re-keys on object replacement.

MillingToolSilhouette

What a MillingTool looks like from the side, to scale: the outline of its flute, of the cutter body above the flute (neck, taper and shank) and of its holder, in the tool-tip frame – Z up the tool axis from the tip, R out from the axis – with the heights of the holder nose and of the spindle gauge line. Every outline is read from the shape the part's 3D mesh is built from and placed where the tool's assembly places that mesh, so the silhouette follows the clamping and every geometry edit as the 3D view does. Built by GetSilhouette().

MillingToolSilhouettePart

One part of a MillingToolSilhouette: the right half of its outline, as Z-R points in the tool-tip frame in the order the part's surface runs. The part is the solid this half outline sweeps about the tool axis, closed to the axis at its first and its last point, so the points and their mirror image about the axis draw it.

MillingToolUtil

Provides utility methods for working with milling tools.
