The difference of the two positions as a modulo axis displays them, within 0°–359.999°: a target above the displayed actual position turns positive by that difference, one below it negative — never through 0°/360°, up to a swing short of a full turn (SINUMERIK MD30455 bit 2 = 0, and every explicit AC()).

Shortest = 0

The shortest way round, within ±180°; a half turn is decided by IRotaryHalfTurnTieConfig. The engine's default.
