APT Tool Definition

APT (Automatically Programmed Tool) is a universal tool definition. Refer to the APT parameter diagram:

• D: Diameter
• Rc: Corner radius
• Rr: Distance from corner center to tool centerline
• Rz: Distance from corner center to tool tip horizontal plane
• Alpha: Angle between horizontal plane and tool tip cone surface
• Beta: Angle between tool centerline and tool wall cone surface
